Regina López Muñoz Takes Home the Sophie Castille Award

Regina López Muñoz has taken home the first Sophie Castille Award for the best translation of a comic book into Spanish or Catalan! It happened last month at Comic Barcelona. Regina won for her translation of Alison by Lizzy Stewart (Errata Naturae). Congratulations, dear colleague!

The three members of the jury were specialized translators Marina Borrás, Celia Filipetto and Inga Pellisa. And the other nominees were César Sánchez, Gema Moraleda, Rubén Lardín, Alberto García Marcos and Montse Meneses. Both Alberto and Montse were actually nominated twice for different books.
