Regina L\u00f3pez Mu\u00f1oz has taken home the first Sophie Castille Award for the best translation of a comic book into Spanish or Catalan! It happened last month at Comic Barcelona<\/a>. Regina won for her translation of Alison<\/em><\/a> by Lizzy Stewart (Errata Naturae). Congratulations, dear colleague!<\/p>\n

The three members of the jury were specialized translators Marina Borr\u00e1s, Celia Filipetto and Inga Pellisa. And the other nominees were C\u00e9sar S\u00e1nchez, Gema Moraleda, Rub\u00e9n Lard\u00edn, Alberto Garc\u00eda Marcos and Montse Meneses. Both Alberto and Montse were actually nominated twice for different books.<\/p>\n
